This is my first Post as a Blogger. It's Post worth watching and thinking about before re-acting. I do come from the standpoint of a 2nd Amendment Woman. I think we need to discuss the whole picture and not just band-aid the one aspect, until the scab comes off.
I was non gun owner until 5 yrs ago. I did not feel comfortable with them in my house, I was not against responsible gun ownership. I just never grew up with them in my parents house. I felt with the combination of 2 large dogs and the women's defense courses that I had taken, I could handle things.
My son came home from the Marines. Everyone was now an adult in the house. My dogs were getting older. He said he was going to have guns in the house (my husband was backing him up) and wanted me to take the courses for concealed carry.
Through out the whole course my son was stricter with me than the instructor. I now understand that a gun is for defense.
